I just completed "Library Thing". It is such a wonderful tool. And free too! I wish that I had access to Library Thing when we were setting up our church library a number of years ago. Everyone had a different ideas of the subject categories to use and it just boggled my mind to use a system that someone else had created who had no idea of how to catalog books. This would have made cataloging so simple and correct.

RSS

I am enjoying receiving current information on my gmail about topics that I am interested in. One of my choices is the Washington Nationals baseball tem. I can even give my husband tidbits about the team (he is a big Nationals fan) that he doesn't even know yet.
I am hoping that some of the other websites that I love will have rss feeds soon.

Flickr

Flickr is a great tool for those who do not any photo software on their computer. What a great free tool!
It is not something that I would use since I don't take pictures with a digital camera ( I like my old 35mm one) and we have photo software on our computer that my husband loves to use. Since he is retired, he has more time to spend and has learn so many new things that he can do with his photos.

Blogging? What's that?

I really didn't think that this bloggin stuff had any worth, but now I have changed my mind. It would be great for scattered families who want to keep up with news concerning a parent's medical condition or children and family members activities. It would be much easier than sending everyone separate emails and making the same responses to each one. Also, if a group of people were working on a similar project, couldn't discuss their progress easily, then posting information on the blog for all the members to see would be very helpful and time efficient.
There might be something to this blogging after all!!!!
